Not an easy task usually but this time it was quick and easy (I must have gained experience!).
Les cinq signatures étant confectionnées, je les ai cousues avec du DMC 5 métallique n° 5310. Pas toujours une tâche facile mais cette fois, j'ai dû gagner en expérience, assez vite réalisé et sans trop de problème.
J'ai même pu attacher mon enveloppe recouverte de papiers illustrés faites il y a plusieurs semaines.
Even the enveloppe I covered with Egyptian themed paper is attached.
I had fun adding the watercolor of Howard Carter and Tutankhamun - made for my last Tour de France as well as the copy of this maze from a maze book.
I have kept this gold paper placemat
and will probably glue it on the back
inside cover.
Un napperon de papier doré viendra
certainement décoré la troisième de
couverture.
Et pour tester mon idée de cadre déchiré
pour présenter ma broderie au point de
croix j'ai fait tout d'abord quelques essais
avec du papier.
Le plus compliqué fût de trouver
un carton teinté des deux côtés mais pas dans l'épaisseur pour
laisser apparaître le blanc de
la fibre de papier.
Impossible à faire avec du Canson.
Coup de bol, un dos de couverture
d'un bloc de papier à lettres marron
a parfaitement fait l'affaire.
I wanted to test my idea
about a special frame for
my pyramid stitched landscape.
First a few attempts at
tearing the paper for the right shape
then the hardest part was to
find the right paper (white inside)
because my Canson paper
for example won't let show it.
I finally used the brown back cover of a pad of writing paper.
And curled the torn strips, glued some with double sided tape to keep them in place.
The back has been covered with hieroglyphics paper.
Another type of square folding and my sarcophagus booklet is done as I finally found the "eyes" for my mask.
Mes derniers ajouts : un pliage carré qui se déplie et mon carnet inspiré du sarcophage fait pour Capucine. J'ai finalement trouvé les yeux parfaits pour mon masque.
