WIPOCALYPSE 10/26

Time to share with Melissa and the Wipocalypse family the projects we want to complete before the end of the world.

On FB or  https://measi.net/

+++  2026 is the year of  "more of" +++

Sewing / Cooking / Junk Journaling / Beads / Wool / Felt / Gardening / Writing / Scrapbooking / Cross stitching / Watercolor

More gardening

the garden is kind of recovering from the heatwaves with
unexpected flowering : clematis and bindwind

but mosquitos still keep me far from my schedule in the flower beds
so only some cuttings in a plant terrarium

More cooking

As shown in the Bon Appétit post before autumn menus some last summer meals with vegetables marined and grilled with olive oil.

Served with pork and black Camargue rice.

More junk journaling and paper crafting

November birthdays cards and a special mysterious theatre book you'll see soon with a lot of paper crafts.

and another special project with one branch of the family tree
for Timothé, from 1633 to the present day, a great deal of research.

More crochet and knitting

I'd managed to knit the scarf in a few days but didn't get the chance to give it to DSiL1 before his London trip. He will receive it before the first really cold days anyway.

More Christmas

The Christmas countdown has officially started on October the 17th.

I'll post CC articles as I make progress. As every year, it's a long list.

I have lost track of topics as Measi.net doesn't work since August check-in.

More blogging and travelling

As we spent some nice holidays in Dordogne, lot of pictures and some posts to share our visits but not a lot done this month.

More gardening

Only a bit of plants propragation, I brought some "babies"
of chlorophytum from my aunt house ready to make roots
I'm far from my schedule cleaning the flowers beds
as mosquitoes and insects don't let me free out 2 mn
on the terrace or in the garden, worse year ever.

More junk journaling and paper crafting

"the layers of atmosphere" for Capucine

already working on the "Sewing" number 3
details soon next Thursday

More crochet and knitting

Only a few rows here and there.

Nothing special to show.

More watercolor

Some pastel colors for cards

The Tour has started on May the 18th for 17 weeks.
On September the 13th we have reached our last stage in Château Porcien.
Thanks to all the "players" who have shared
with me this medieval journey.

I have some troubles to post on Melissa's blog / Measi.net
so I'll post on FB.

Topic for this month:  What new stitches or techniques did you learn this year?

Looking for a translation, I found : Swiss embroidery, chicken scratch or Gingham lace?

It's stitched on Vichy fabric, crosses  x and +.

I have started with a Christmas pattern and made a birthday card last April

August topic:

Do you prefer to stitch on a rotation or one project at a time?

Impossible to stitch only one project at a time, all DIY mixed I'm close to ten WIP this month. (I mean WIP in my hands not in my bags...).

Supported by the FIFA mascots, our journalists team and our couple of mice.

More gardening

No big plans in the garden, too hot to work out, only try to save some flowers from burning from the heat and sun.
