I have 51 images to prepare, reusing some of the past editions and using some photos, that leaves me with 33 new paintings.

Question of the Month:  Which of your current WIPs do you consider your most difficult piece to stitch?

Probably : Femmes de Paris des Jardins de Nana

I bought it in a DIY fair, kind of impulse buy, but there isn't a lot of cross stitch, there is a lot of black stitches without counting help so I'm a little lost in the pattern. I brought it back for the Wipolympics thinking I'd be brave to give it its chance but not! It is back in my bag and have to wait for better times.

Rachel used to host the Smalls SAL, on the last Friday of the month everyone is encouraged to post about small stitchings and I'd love to join this SAL regularly adding sometimes my small DIY.

I'm back on small beads projects

My beads palm tree is finished now and will take place in my Ancient Egypt JJ. Perhaps on the Nil Delta page. I occasionally find some surprises in my boxes and my last discovery was a small beads crocodile (I have no idea where I got it) but I'll be pleased to welcome it in my JJ.

Mon palmier en perles rocaille est terminé et va trouver sa place dans mon JJ Egypte Ancienne. Peut-être sur ma page découpage Delta du Nil. Il m'arrive de retrouver de temps en temps quelques surprises dans mes boîtes et ma dernière découverte a été ce petit crocodile (aucune idée d'où je l'ai récupéré).

I'm back on my "honey pot birthday card" for which I need tiny bees...

So be sure that it's the smallest thing I have done!

Quelques abeilles miniatures vont venir butiner mes cartes d'anniversaire "pot de miel" et sont donc parfaites pour illustrer ce "small SAL".

Côté point de croix, j'ai repris ma broderie sur carton et fini un des instruments de musique : une petite lyre.

I have made skis and skis poles for my couple of mice (who will be my next Olympic Games supporters) but I thought vintage snowshoes would be funny!

Il me fallait également installer confortablement mes deux journalistes dans un bureau de presse bien équipé. Bientôt éclairé grâce à un ancien tube de mayonnaise.

The two sport journalists who will comment the Winter Olympic Games soon needed a well-equipped press office soon to be lit with the help of an old mayonnaise tube.

COLLIERS / BEADING

 I'm back to play with beads and threads!

For a long long time I missed making necklaces and with all that you can see on the net it's painful to think that I have boxes full of beads, threads and don't use them. Shame on me!

I must say that since I'm retired I'm more relax on my look... outfits, hair, make up and jewels.

But I love all sorts of beads and I have bought some nice one some years ago in a shop in Dieppe and some bags of beads and sequins visiting Lunéville. it's on my todo list for too many years and it's time for action.

First I love long necklaces like "sautoir" or "opéra", I don't know why but I am not longer at ease with something close to my neck!

My first project is to make a small rope "cordelière" with DMC metallic pink 5852 associated with coton perlé n° 5 beige 738.

First I had those two lovely buttons with Paris views I bought in Toulon!

I have selected some tiny flowers, charms, buttons to sew on the rope

in an harmony of colors from white to green.

I want to attach a tassel at the bottom of the rope made with the same DMC threads.

Then I wanted to have a link to embroidery with a tiny hoop with scissors and spool, all made with real gold DMC thread (given it a jewel look).

I don't need a clasp so I'm attaching the two ends and making a blanket stitch with the metallic thread (not the best one I have made but metallic isn't my favourite thread).

Me voici enfin décidée à ressortir mes boîtes de perles pour confectionner quelques jolis colliers et sautoirs. 

Premier projet : une longue cordelière réalisée en coton perlé DMC beige 738 associé à un fil métallique 5852.

Sur cette cordelière je voulais attacher quelques miniatures : deux boutons avec de jolie vues de Paris en couple avec des boutons décorés, des fleurs, une perle larme, un bouton bois parfum, un tout petit flacon rempli de micro billes. Puis j'ai fabriqué une broderie au fil d'or DMC dans un tambour de 23 mm groupée avec son charm ciseaux oiseaux et sa bobine d'1 cm.

En finition, confection d'un gland qui pendra sous un bouton "Paris - couture", le tout avec une harmonie de couleur du blanc au vert.

I have found a tuto on YT to make small butterflies in crochet

I have added two near the neckline of Capucine dress

and sewed two on a hair band

My small bees are buzzing to be part of this post

Only about 30 cross stitches but a nightmare to do

with 3 threads of metallic DMC E130!

I use it to "close" the pocket in the "drawbridge concept" page of my JJ

Lot of smalls this month...   my button spider and my button book!

I misscounted my folds when I cut the accordeon a few weeks ago

so I added one more to be able to glue the two buttons and

have a small book

Don't forget we just started to travel around my country

for the 6th edition of my Tour de France
