CHRISTMAS IN JULY EXCHANGE

Today arrived a special parcel

Kaye from "Kitten Stitching" hosted
a Christmas in July
exchange I decided to join.
My very first exchange.

That's what I received from Tiffany - Tiffstitches a blog  (http://tiffstitch.blogspot.fr/)

Fantastic fabrics, delicious chocolate and candy, a sweet stitched card and a Christmas ornament I'm already crazy about! Those two bears canoing are so cute. Thanks a lot Tiffany, I'm so happy with all those gifts.

My recipient is Shelly in Arizona. (https://shelly-anarizonastitcher.blogspot.fr

It was a great fun to prepare all the surprises and as it's a Xmas year for me, I have a lot of Xmas stitching in progress, so easy to choose the character from Cuore & Batticuore as a gift.

the six charts,  the one I stitched for Valentine Blog Hop, the WIP

starring this little miss I have now to stitch for me.

THEME-TAS-STITCH 07/17

Kerry from Ramblings of a biscornu addict organized a Theme-tas-Stitch event I love a lot,

http://ramblingsofabiscornuaddict.blogspot.fr/

Just one July is the theme of this month : Pick a focus piece for the month and see how much progress you can make : show us before and after pictures if you can.

I chose the "Village Quaker", this stitching is really a great pleasure for me, my first quaker, a lovely pattern from, a very pleasant fabric to stitch on, encouraging progress.

I decided not to take it during the first week of July, I prefered smaller pieces for travel, but I'm back working on it on my lunch break at work.

So, it was left at the end of June here :

I worked on the pale blue, the flowers, butterfly, letters on the left side then added some other stitches on the right, finishing by some dark blue on the edge.

The last stitches were done on today lunch break!

Next month, we'll have to take care of our furry and feathered friends.

GIFTED GORGEOUSNESS 07/17

I'm a little late for the Gifted Gorgeousness update, hosted by Jo of Serendipitous Stitching, on the 15th of each monch, you have to show your progress on the stitching you're making as gift or the pieces you're making with fabric or threads that have been given to you.

Here,  you'll find Jo post and links to other stitchers

http://serendipitousstitching.blogspot.fr/2017/07/gifted-gorgeousness-july-link-up-post.html

First, I got a finish!

A little rabbit, born with the Eastern Blog Hop, as a gift for my blog,  now smiling in the egg cup

I plan to use it on a little bag for my special eggs cissors...
It's a pattern from Brin par Brin "Des invités dans ma cuisine"
"Guests in my kitchen"

Il me reste à confectionner une petite pochette pour protéger mes ciseaux "spécial oeuf à la coque".

I added shoes on the third character I stitched in this serie from Cuore & Batticuore

During my holidays I also finished my Mona Lisa,
the idea was given by Jo, she stitched it in January 2016 and shared the link to the free pattern from Mr XStitch

I keep Village Quaker for Theme-tas-Stitch update, but I have a little flower to offer you, what would be a Gifted Gorgeousness post without a gift!

UN PEU DE FRAICHEUR

Retour de vacances avec quelques progrès autoroutiers.
I did a good job stitching in the car back to home :
I finished the border of Cuore & Batticuore and start another one.

VACANCES LOTOISES

I chose the variated brown DMC 4140 I stitched one cross by one (a real performance for me) for the little house of this Colin Cardinal from Advent Calendar - Brooke's Books

The third characters of Cuore et Batticuore (middle of 2d rank).

I brought four stitching works in holidays, no stitching on the sunny terrace now because it's raining every day!

Some views now
