For this fifth CC post

First let's go to the garden...

After some windy days I always collect weeping willow branches on the ground. Some are good enough to make wreaths. Last year I made a large oval one.

Here are three small wreaths waiting to dry.

Tout d'abord faisons un petit tour dans le jardin pour ramasser des branches de saule pleureur tombées ces derniers jours parfaites pour fabriquer des couronnes

L'année dernière j'avais pu faire une grosse couronne ovale.

Là je confectionne trois petites qui vont devoir sécher un peu plus.

Dimanche dernier, nous sommes allés aux Tisséades de Blois, un petit marché aux tissus et mercerie. Voici quelques achats...

I'm back on my Christmas cards

an old pattern I made years ago, small cards making a tree shape

J'ai repris la confection de cartes, tout d'abord un ancien modèle

fait de petites cartes disposées en forme de sapin

puis, pour utiliser un stock de cartes rondes pliées en deux

je vais récupérer des feuillages en démontant une décoration

inutilisée bleu et argent

For the second CC post I want to go back to some homemade gifts I have already made for Soline. We'll visit my family in a few days and maybe you remember that last year I have been able to make an Advent Calendar for Soline, I have brought it to her grand mother to be deliver on December the 1st with some succes.

Not enough time to make a new one this year but I have prepared some "DIY kits" with Christmas ideas :

- the skating scene

- a felt candle

- the tassel Christmas tree

- folded paper ornaments

- the crocheted candy cane / lollipop

- the winter scene

This skating scene is made with a circle cut into a blue silver paper, you add cotton around the edges and glue a character with a ribbon to show the skate marks on the ice.

Then classic folded pendants cut in some old book pages and candy cane or lollypop made from crocheted white and red cord.

Small tassels made with cheap green thread I can't use for stitching

will be attach on a cardboard for a Christmas tree design card.

Some classic felt candles

and a snowed winter landscape to build as you want

Premier article consacré aux kits conçus pour Soline.

L'an passé, je lui avais fabriqué un calendrier de l'avent que nous

avions pu confier à sa grand mère pour une distribution le 1er décembre.

Pour notre prochaine visite, pas assez de temps et d'idées pour renouveler l'opération mais je voulais néanmoins lui apporter de petites surprises et connaissant sa créativité je lui ai préparé six paquets de fourniture pour six projets de bricolage :

bougie en feutrine, scène hivernale, patinoire, pendouilles en papier plié, sapin en pompons glands et tricotin pour sucettes.
