WIPOCALYPSE 05/19

http://measi.net/measiblog/2019/05/26/may-2019-wipocalypse-check-in/

Participating again in this SAL since the beginning of 2019, I took as an example some stitching friends who planned a "19 in 19" projects.

Here is my list :

1 - Avvolgente - l'arbre de Noël - Christmas tree
2 - les patins d'argent - skating / 3/4/5/6/7 - personnages de Noël -
8 - AAC oiseau - colin cardinal / 9 - la clef du mystère / keys /10 - la clef des champs / keys
11 - Halloween sous la pluie / 12 - dansons la Capucine / dansing childs
13 - le jeu de l'oie / Goose game
14 - Cda  traineau / 15 - CdA  St Nicolas / 16 - CdA  crèche
17 - loto feutrine / 18 - cuisine pour dinette - feutrine / felt / 19 - dinette Zazobouzi /

This month, I already worked on 17 and 18 (part of GG post),

For 14/15/16, I had some French knots to do, so more than 130 knots later...
(sorry I took pictures but not enough close to see them)

Back to Halloween in the rain, with some finishes on the hat, the handbag, the tag
and the  backstich made by error with two threads is ok now.

The month topic is where do you buy your stash :  my last threads purchase was in the garden center (!) on my way back from work;
My favorite place is the local DIY fair in January where I usually find some new fabric, charts, charms and kits. During holidays never miss to visit stitching/sewing shops as well as museums.

Those past years, Measi's Wipocalypse planning used to follow the full moon calendar, that's why this year I add some pictures of our satellite to my post.

GIFTED GORGEOUSNESS 05/19

Gifted Gorgeousness is about gifts, gifts you received, gifts you sent, gifts you made.
All you want to know about this event is here, on Jo's blog, every month on the 15th

http://serendipitousstitching.blogspot.com/2019/05/may-gifted-gorgeousness-link-up-post.html

Two gifts finished this month and ready to join a young 3 years old girl, the daughter of my goddaughter

Just out of the oven...

The second is the first set of my lotto game, four series ready : flowers, fruits/vegetables, writing and animals.

I made two of this game, the second one is for my granddaughter who will be 3 at the end of June.
It means 4 bags, 8 rectangles and 96 squares and a lot of threads to cut and stop.

One of my big plan for this year was to organize a third "Tour de France" game
and invite you on a new journey through the country.

It will take the same way that on the previous games
in 2015 (March to June) and in 2017 (February to June)

This year the theme is "toy - games",
maybe I chose it on a GG day or in Christmas spirit

The trip will lead to different towns,
you'll have to find the name of the town or the name of the toy
the link can be in the name of the town, what the town is famous for
(an event, an activity, a museum)

I chose the game or the toy in my own favorite memories (they may be a little vintage).

Some guests will help
with clues,
this time I have chosen
Disney movies
and their characters to guide you. Hidden in the drawings,
in dialogues they might be
geographic, historical clues, sometimes little enigma,
kind of riddles.

Ready to travel with a rocket or a flying carpet
Need a minibus or a horse
All your guids can't wait

Departure planned
on June the 5th,
.

Hope that you'll be many
to join me on this modest journey

1ER MAI !

Lovely tradition here, to offer a few sprigs of lily of the valley as good luck on the first day of May.

It's my favorite flower, certainly because my birthday is tomorrow...

Lovely rugby badge very floral and spring time from Toulon Club

A lovely DMC chart, perfect for me

An old stitching, used as earrings keeper...

I offer lily of the valley to everyone I love, this one is for you! Kisses
