La couleur "bordeaux" qui nous conduit directement à la ville de Bordeaux. We use bordeaux for a dark red, we also can use "wine lees" to name a reddish-purple color.

Bordeaux color which is burgundy (Bourgogne - another vineyard) in English.

Italian clues with la Linea (created by Osvaldo Cavandoli - below) and the Italian firstname Luigi (Louis Toffoli was born in Trieste). 

I love this painter and maybe it's because I have discovered him with this stamp about embroidery.

Bordeaux can be nice on monochrome patterns.

Comme il est d'usage de dire : à boire avec modération mais à broder sans retenue...
