BOO!

Can I have another FFG post? This spring have been busy (and still is) so many WIP found an happy end recently! So it's time to share a small story with you about... knitting.

Ce printemps est semble-t-il très productif et j'ai un second (peut-être même deuxième) projet complètement terminé. Il est donc temps de partager avec vous une petite histoire...  de tricot.

Once upon a time... there was a white shawl sleeping in a closet and therefore a wool that could be used for another project. 

Once upon a time... a knitter who wanted to rediscover the pleasure of knitting by making small, simple squares in jersey stitch.

Il était une fois... un châle blanc qui dormait dans un placard et donc une laine potentiellement récupérable pour un autre projet. 

Il était une fois... une tricoteuse qui voulait retrouver le plaisir du tricot en confectionnant en point jersey de petits carrés simples à réaliser.

Détricotage, lavage, remise en pelotes et après discussion avec Eve-Amélie choix d'un modèle de couverture. Parfait ce BOO pour utiliser la laine blanche complétée par l'achat de noir, de rose et d'un bleu mauve pour le fond. 

Once the wool was unknitted and washed, the pattern chosen by DD3 and some black, pink, white and blue wool bought...  it was time to face reality and numbers!  73 squares from the shawl, that leaves me 251 squares to knit.

Voici les carrés réalisés avec la laine récupérée du châle (73).

Maintenant, parlons chiffres :

des carrés de 32 mailles sur 40 rangs,  soit 324  au total.

21 pink  /  56 black/noir  /  127 white/blanc  /  120 pale blue/purple
