My 2021 Tour de France was about colors and painters, no doubt we'll find some stages showing abstract art with Mondrian for example

or with Sonia Delaunay.

It seems I haven't patterns fitting in this theme but I can post with a birthday card I made years ago for a German friend Ursula, big fan of Joan Miro.

A drawing "in the style of"  Miro  inspired by the "morning star"

to celebrate our friendship  (amitié).

Le thème "abstrait" de ce mois de juillet ne correspond pas aux ouvrages que je brode mais j'ai réussi à trouver quelques illustrations grâce aux peintres abstraits comme Miro qui m'inspira pour une carte d'anniversaire destinée à mon amie Ursula et bien sûr lors des étapes consacrées aux peintres et à leurs couleurs lors du précédent Tour de France.
