Melissa from Measi.net is holding a special event for the FIFA World Cup.
From June 11th to July 19th.
I use to participate to her Wipolympics challenges during Summer and Winter Olympic Games and I love it very much.
I have given a call to my journalists friends who usually hosted the TV show for the OG : Nelson and Gérard.
Measi introduction:
FIFA World Cup Stitching: A completely new challenge for 2026! In lieu of our normal June and July focus months, we will be holding a challenge from the beginning of the World Cup group matches on Thursday, June 11th through the final on Sunday, July 19th. For each day in the World Cup, there will be three match challenges (you set the time according to your personal schedule – or stitch during your local match broadcasts). Each match will consist of two 45 minute sprints and a 15 minute halftime break, per standard soccer/football rules. Stoppage, extra time, and penalty shootouts are yours to do with as you choose. Your challenge is to progress in your project of choice during each match as far as you can. You may work on a different project for each match, but may not switch projects within a single match. Whether you count stitches or not is up to you. Note: Melissa is going to attempt to do some scheduled sprints via YouTube during these days.
First let me introduce you to the mascots : Maple, Zayu and Clutch.
104 matches, 48 countries
First my journalists team must organize their new office before hosting their football news program. Splitting their time between Canada and U.S.A.
As you can see, they already adopted local outfits.
See you later, probably at the end of next week.
And don't forget there is a "Tour de France" running on this blog!
On the previous post, the 4th stage. I'm waiting for your guess to find a new town to visit.
