The town name is :       Château-Gontier sur Mayenne

Rappel des indices / Some explanations about the clues

1/ Joan of Arc was welcoming you on the first post on June the 8th and told you we'll meet again on July the 31 th,  53 days later!

You can also see the two silver keys from the town coat of arms on her flag.

2/ After founding the palindrome name of the town of LAVAL  you'll have to take the road D962 to join the city of Château-Gontier about 30 km south.

The chapel of Géneteil in this city is now used to welcome modern art exhibitions.

1/ Jeanne d'Arc en vous accueillant le 8 juin vous donnait rendez-vous le 31 juillet pour une prochaine rencontre, soit 53 jours plus tard.

Vous pouviez aussi repérer les deux clefs d'argent sur son drapeau.

2/ Après avoir trouvé la ville de LAVAL  (dont le nom est un palindrome) vous deviez emprunter la route D962 et rejoindre une trentaine de kms au sud la cité de Château-Gontier. Dans la chapelle du Géneteil sont désormais présentées des expositions d'art moderne.

Puppet

About puppets, as a BIG fan since I'm a kid, I made some researchs for this post and found some YT movies of "the Legend of Joan of Arc" by Steven Ritz-Barr. Among them "The legend of making Joan of Arc" showing scenes and characters with their marionettists are really interesting. I encourage you to take a look.

One of her most notable works of art was a 63" x 63" Joan of Arc art quilt. The quilt was juried into the International Quilt Festival in Houston, TX, in 2024.
