I have tried to focus on one project

the knitted cover for DD3

Petit rappel concernant mon projet de couverture tricotée

pour recycler un châle en laine blanche

Première étape : détricoter, laver et réaliser des carrés au point jersey

avec la laine récupérée

Après validation du choix du modèle, commandes des pelotes

de couleur

Recap en chiffres :

21 pink/rose : all done  -  fait

56 black/noir : 19

127 white/blanc : 85  -  (71 sewed in lines/cousu en lignes)

197 pale purple : 20

I used to say that my Tour de France game is a kind of gift

for me to make it and for my readers 

so I'll use this shoehorn (today deck shoes) to give some news

and confirm that I'm organizing the 5th edition

Towns are chosen, some wip drawings and paintings

steps/posts are prepared and illustrated

I'm still working on the dialogues/riddles

This time the theme will be the sea, boats and sailors

Here are some friends who will be ready soon

to sail with you!

Ces dernières années, j'ai présenté mon jeu du Tour de France

comme un genre de cadeau pour moi-même et mes lecteurs

je profite donc du GG pour confirmer la préparation

de la 5ème édition

Les villes sont choisies, quelques dessins/peintures en cours

les étapes/articles sont préparées et illustrées

dialogues et indices en écriture

Cette fois, le thème sera la mer, les bateaux et les marins

Voici quelques amis bientôt prêts à naviguer avec vous !

Vendredi cueillette de fraises à la Bernardière

hier ramassage de la rhubarbe dans le potager

et confection d'un bon gâteau ainsi que d'un tiramisu aux fraises

pour un dimanche en famille

Felt  -  Feutrine

My band of friends have one more member : an owl 

and as I decided to use this set for Jo's Easter Blog Hop

I thought it will be clever to add some bunnies.

I made with Timothé's help a second base to welcome

some flowers

I have sewed the fish then the waterlilies

Then the pond on the green felt (with some fishing thread)

keeping two spaces free on the water edge to slide the plants bases

Here is a "drone view"

And here is Soline, happy with her new toys

Voilà terminé mon ensemble "autour de l'étang"

les derniers habitants ajoutés : un hibou et trois lapins

l'assemblage des poissons, nénuphars sur l'étant réalisé

Soline peut désormais s'amuser avec ses nouveaux amis.

Knitting - Tricot

The original purpose of this cover was to (re)use some white wool

from a shawl I wasn't using. Then when DD3 chose this pattern

I had to order more pink, black, white and a blue purple

to make more squares.

I also did some tests mounting,  sewing some squares in line.

This year it's my project "around the pound" in felt, I'm making for Soline Easter gift, which I want to share with you.

The designer "Brin par brin"   sells smart notesbooks with laminated pages with six patterns by serie.

I have bought three of them :

Wainting to be full finished, I cut the cardboard but I haven't found the right red/white string for the border.

This post was ready but then I visited Pamela from Hokkaido Kudasai and remember that I too have stitched one of the freebies from Snowdiairies - Joyful World - January, a lovely fox for my granddaughter bib.
