After Mary from Mary's Thread, Rachel is now hosting the Smalls SAL

I'm glad to have received from DD2 this lovely small pattern from  Heritage, to show you the last Friday of the month. She bought it in London and kept it for my May birthday.

Une chance, en début de mois, DD2 m'a offert ce très joli kit de chez  Heritage acheté à Londres.

I started it in Annecy during our holidays.

The second stitching I started then is a free chart of backstitch

It's no more easy for me now to stitch during the car travel as I always did before surgery.

But I thought it would work with a simple chart in backstitch

and I used this not so great Aïda fabric I had in my stash

I choose a variated red DMC thread

and it was fun to do

Ma seconde broderie est faite d'après une grille gratuite

en point arrière.

Cela me manquait de ne plus broder en voiture et j'ai pensé

que je pouvais essayer avec un point simple, un seul fil mais une teinte variée de chez DMC et sur une toile assez grossière que je ne peux pas

utiliser pour de jolies broderies mais qui conviendra pour une carte
