Some clues......    Train number was 64   (Pyrenées-Atlantiques)

Pr Layton was touching his hat

Landscape in the train showned highest summit :
Pic d'Aneto (Spain) 3.404m  and in France
Vignemale 3.298 m, col/pass du Tourmalet 2115m

About letters, when you choose 3 letters
a L O T    you keep     N A Y     ( L A Y T O N)

World record for WC béret throw : 43 mètres

A little break in our journey

  1. Oh my goodness... I completely missed the train on this one! Life has been so busy lately that I haven't had a chance to do any blog reading! Hopefully the layover for the next week or so will give me a chance to catch up again :o)
    Enjoy your holidays!
    Hugs xx

  2. Your clues are so clever! I found a three letter town, shame it was the wrong one!

  3. your drawings are just superb! thank you for taking the time to do this, it's FANTASTIC!
oh, and that LAYTON - LOT = NAY was clever! I completely missed it!
I'm glad I made it though, enjoy your holiday! see you soon!
    grous bisous!

    1. this "clue-nay" (clooney... ) was a pure coincidence. Searching to add something to help you I see it and found it funny. Town and character were chosen long ago, a chance it was not "Bécassine" step. What else?
