JO PARIS 2024 COMPETITION NATATION

 

Today is my favorite competition : the swimming race.

Aujourd'hui nous allons assister à ma compétition favorite : la natation.

The brave competitors of the eight nations are back.

Each had received a 70 cm lenght

of thread. With 8 different colors, 

the highest number of crosses stitched 

will designate the winner.

Tous les concurrents ont reçu 70 cm de fil, combien de croix réussiront-ils à faire ?

The pattern is  :  the lady with the unicorn

6 - brun clair - Very Popular Republic of Embroidery, la République très populaire de broderie,
7 - bleu marine - Sewing Confederation, la Confédération de la couture,
8 - vert foncé - Democracy of Mad Crosstitch,  la Démocratie Merveilleuse des Croix 

Résultat de la course :

1er : n° 8  - 94  points/stitches      vert foncé  -  dark green

2e  : n° 7  - 88  points/stitches      bleu marine -  dark blue

3e  : n° 4  - 86  points/stitches      bleu clair  -  light blue

4e - 5e - 6e  ex aequo :  n°  1 - 5 - 6   84  points/stitches    chair / brun foncé / brun clair  -  flesh color / dark brown / light brown

7e  : n° 3  - 80  points/stitches      rose  -  pink

8e  : n° 2  - 73  points/stitches      vert clair  -  light green

and some other competitors!

- How was the race?

  Freestyle was efficient and I won with 94 stitches!

- As a Silver medalist  Sewing Conferation, how do you feel?

  I have done a good job even if I didn't won, I was only  6  crosses behind. 

- In third place, Hardangerstan are you happy?

  I'm glad to be on the podium and to bring back home a bronze medal with a small piece of the Eiffel tower!

- What about you Thimberland ?

  I only know breaststroke and finished last but I kept my thread dry!

Not so much mistakes doing the frog kick.

Nos journalistes, Nelson et Gérard, ont interviewé les participants à cette finale de crawl qui leur ont déclaré être contents de leurs courses respectives. Le gagnant DMC remportant la victoire avec 94 croix, le second SC terminant avec 88 et le troisième H ravi d'être sur le podium avec 86 et de rapporter à la maison un petit morceau de la Tour Eiffel.

Un dernier commentaire de Thimberland qui finit dernier ne sachant nager que la brasse mais fier d'avoir gardé son fil au sec sans trop d'erreurs même si je nageais comme une grenouille a-t-il précisé !
