Big news, this will be the last post of this SAL as Jo announced it will end this month. Since 2018 (can you believe it!) we have all looked in our files for some pictures of our stitchings we could link to many different themes.

A great way to show some old works with nice memories, thanks to Jo.

Designer of the year 2024 will close this "chapter".

The Lady with the unicorn from Princesse will be my only project for the coming weeks.

Next month, we'll see what new challenge will be on Jo's blog, maybe something linked to the alphabet?

(must keep my shoehorn near to me just in case).

Dernière participation en ce mois de janvier au "You choose" organisé par Jo depuis 2018. Très amusant d'être mise au défi avec un thème différent chaque mois. C'était une occasion fort sympathique de rappeler à notre mémoire d'anciens ouvrages et de leur redonner une place dans ces articles. Merci à Jo. En février, peut-être un nouveau challenge sur son blog, nous verrons si je serais en mesure d'y participer.

This month theme is  "chocolate"

So we'll start with a cup of hot cocoa

then with some cakes in felt : donuts, a double cream puff we name "nun" here (I remember my godfather always saying "sorry, sister" before eating the top).

This month's theme is : circles

My questioning was about should it be an empty circle or something round? Let's start with this round frame which will be ok I hoop.

Cercles ou ronds ? La question n'étant pas tranchée, voici quelques disques vides et pleins pour illustrer le thème du mois.

Un cercle à broder, cadre pour ce chevreuil dans sa forêt

celui-là, je l'ai vu dans le champ derrière le jardin le mois dernier !

(first time I saw a deer so close to the house on an early morning!)

Si les trous ronds et vides sont autorisés, mon premier livre-tunnel sera parfait pour l'occasion, en avant-première voici la couverture et les deux premières pages.

If round holes are allowed, my first tunnel book will suit!

I'll post about it in a few days but as a preview, I can give you the first three pages.

Looking for something round in my crafts I have found a lot of food...

felt pizza, pies, donuts.

A la recherche de ronds dans mes ouvrages, j'ai trouvé beaucoup de gâteaux : tartes, beignets et biscuits.

Circles in Christmas crafts will mean bubble and snowball

Les cercles sur les décorations de Noël vont se transformer en boules de Noël, à suspendre ou à secouer et encore plus de biscuits.

Enfin pour terminer cet article avant de fermer cette porte de forme adéquate, quelques ronds pas si faciles que cela à broder au point de croix pour remplir un panier de cerises, de pelotes de laine ou tailler les arbres en topiaires.

A year of stitches is the perfect place to find weather pattern all around the 4 seasons...

Retrouvons d'abord les chaleurs de l'été avec deux relevés de température confirmant un certain réchauffement qui méritait une orangeade !
