Five cards in June/July

For a July birthday card I'm back on my american letter box

for my friend Régis

DD1 will receive her honey pot... I had one waiting for a finish

two bees to sew (not the easiest part) and color/stick the honey

and wax.     For Marylène some tea cups full of love...

For Timothé, I have made a movie clap

I have started at the end of April the Angora blue scarf gift for DD1

Here is my update about 75 cm long.

Fifa challenge will give a boost as 

the warm temperatures doesn't motivate me

to knit wool.

My  birthday gift : Lady and the unicorn "the touch"  update

Dans le GG de juin, mes cartes d'anniversaire maison : une boîte aux lettres pour Régis, les tasses de thé pour Marylène, une nouveauté le clap de cinéma pour Timothé. 

Côté feutrine, coquilles st Jacques et radis pour la cuisine de Soline.

Une pelote de terminée pour l'écharpe de LE et quelques avancées sur la licorne du Toucher dans la série la Dame à la Licorne.

FULLY FINISHED GALLERY SAL 06/26

 

It's the 10th of this month and Rachel from "Ten Hour Stitcher"

used to welcome us and our Fully Finished achievements.

Her blog is on pause but I want to keep this event as a special day welcoming my fully finished projects.

Miguel the Cameleon is a kit from Filantrope broderies, they have quite a collection of outfits and I have chosen girafe.

After a bad start during the Olympics, mixing colors, I took another fabric and here it is. I didn't like the thread at all, very tight I found difficult to work with.

There is a tiny swaroski crystal for the eye.

Mon petit caméléon Miguel est enfin terminé. J'avais commencé ce kit de chez Filanthrope Broderies à l'occasion des Wipolympics mais j'ai eu pas de soucis, d'abord je me suis trompée dans les couleurs ensuite je n'ai pas aimé utiliser leur fil très raide. Mais ce modèle girafe est l'un de mes préférés parmi leur collection impressionante d'habillages et il me semble assez réussi.

First I thought I'll made another american box card for my DSiL3 March birthday, then I thought a more personal card would be better and a pokemon ball card would be great for this pokemon generation

Easy to make with red, black and white cardboard

And easy to reuse the Tangela character I drew for my TdF1

Keeping the same looks as he dressed up into a wool ball to look fancy.

I had a lot of fun making this flowered embroidery on Vichy fabric

and used it for a birthday card for my aunt

A new tea themed birthday card for a June birthday

Six cups will be ok for the envelop shape

glued on a purple paper leaving the top edge open

so I could slide some "tea bags" with wishes

Trois nouveaux modèles de cartes d'anniversaire :

pour DSiL3  une pokéball avec Sac de noeud

(en réutilisant l'idée du dessin du TdF)

sur son 31 soit en pelote pour la fête.

ensuite utiliser ma broderie suisse sur Vichy pour ma tante

un petit bouquet fait pendant les Wipolympics

et enfin quelques progrès sur ma pile de tasses

pour une amie amatrice de thé comme moi

Six tasses sont collées en laissant le bord supérieur ouvert

ainsi je pourrais glisser mes sachets de thés avec mes voeux

The wool was given to me by DH who find it in his mother stash

So weird to knit as the thread has an irregular thickness

but I thought the color would pleased DD3

She asked for a sleeveless sweater

Avec la laine récupérée par JB j'ai proposé à DD3 de lui tricoté un petit pull car je sais qu'elle affectionne cette couleur.

Elle a opté pour un pull sans manche. Un petit challenge a relever

car la laine était très spéciale avec une épaisseur inégale.

Mais l'avantage c'est que tricotée en 10 l'ouvrage avance vite.

Soline m'a envoyé cette photo avec sa dinette

et j'ai commencé la fabrication de quartiers de clémentines

ainsi que d'un crabe et son citron

I received this picture from Soline as she played with her felt food

I am sewing clementine segments in felt and I have started

some crab claws

As it was a Christmas gift from DD3

I must add to this post my Lady and the unicorn I finished

during the Wipolympics competition

I made those tiny crocheted bags for Soline

to play with her dolls

We also spend some time playing "at the restaurant"

and we made a list of the felt food she could use for her dishes

green peas came on our list and as she got some air dry clay

we made some tiny peas I brought back to glue in a felt pea pod

less than 3 cm long

Pour Soline, j'ai confectionné ces petits sacs de poupée au crochet

pendant notre visite nous avons joué "au restaurant"

et ainsi j'ai pu voir avec elle ce que je pourrais lui fabriquer en

feutrine, sur notre petite liste venaient les petits pois

comme elle avait de la pâte autodurcissante nous avons préparé

des pois miniatures que j'ai rapporté pour les coller dans des gousses cousues sur mesure.

I have finally found a shop to buy my missing 3364 DMC green thread and been able to finish the bottom of the dress

also adding the last metallic gold thread stitches

Some progress to on the hair and face too

J'ai enfin pu acheter le DMC 3364 manquant et terminer le bas de la robe puis ajouter les dernières croix dans la chevelure et le visage.

Among my homemade Chritsmas cards there is a special one

as Soline's birthday is on 12/30 I like to make her a three parts

carousel card. I have chosen the fair theme for this year.

So a roller coaster for Christmas, a unicorns carousel for her birthday and a Ferris wheel for the New Year

The wheel can turn around of cause as well as the small gondolas

I'm also designing two patterns for Christmas ornaments for two little boys. I made a 1st Christmas stitching for Pierre first Christmas with a Santa and last year I chose a musical tree for his second Christmas.

In 2025, he'll receive his third Christmas ornie and his little 7 months old brother Hector his first one.
