It's always nice to make gifts, nice too to receive some

                        and use them in our stitching projects.

First I thought I'll made another american box card for my DSiL3 March birthday, then I thought a more personal card would be better and a pokemon ball card would be great for this pokemon generation

Easy to make with red, black and white cardboard

And easy to reuse the Tangela character I drew for my TdF1

Keeping the same looks as he dressed up into a wool ball to look fancy.

I had a lot of fun making this flowered embroidery on Vichy fabric

and used it for a birthday card for my aunt

A new tea themed birthday card for a June birthday

Six cups will be ok for the envelop shape

glued on a purple paper leaving the top edge open

so I could slide some "tea bags" with wishes

Trois nouveaux modèles de cartes d'anniversaire :

pour DSiL3  une pokéball avec Sac de noeud

(en réutilisant l'idée du dessin du TdF)

sur son 31 soit en pelote pour la fête.

ensuite utiliser ma broderie suisse sur Vichy pour ma tante

un petit bouquet fait pendant les Wipolympics

et enfin quelques progrès sur ma pile de tasses

pour une amie amatrice de thé comme moi

Six tasses sont collées en laissant le bord supérieur ouvert

ainsi je pourrais glisser mes sachets de thés avec mes voeux

The wool was given to me by DH who find it in his mother stash

So weird to knit as the thread has an irregular thickness

but I thought the color would pleased DD3

She asked for a sleeveless sweater

Avec la laine récupérée par JB j'ai proposé à DD3 de lui tricoté un petit pull car je sais qu'elle affectionne cette couleur.

Elle a opté pour un pull sans manche. Un petit challenge a relever

car la laine était très spéciale avec une épaisseur inégale.

Mais l'avantage c'est que tricotée en 10 l'ouvrage avance vite.

Soline m'a envoyé cette photo avec sa dinette

et j'ai commencé la fabrication de quartiers de clémentines

ainsi que d'un crabe et son citron

I am sewing clementine segments in felt and I have started

some crab claws

As it was a Christmas gift from DD3

I must add to this post my Lady and the unicorn I finished

during the Wipolympics competition

Rachel is hosting the Smalls SAL, on the last Friday of the month everyone is encourage to post about small stitchings and I'd love to join this SAL regularly adding sometimes my small DIY.

The tiniest thing done those past days is this small  1 cm wood spool. I have rolled up on it special gold DMC thread.

I intend to add it on a necklace I'm making with a scissors charm and a tiny hoop stitching 23 mm).

I'm stitching on a pink fabric with the gold DMC thread the firm sold for their 270 years anniversary in 2016.

Comme il va s'agir de miniatures ajoutées à mon collier torsade, j'ai utilisé pour l'occasion le fil or 24 carats que DMC avait sorti à l'occasion du 270ème anniversaire de la marque en 2016. Enroulé autour d'une mini bobine et brodé sur une toile rose collée dans ce cercle miniature.

A new design for my homemade "Happy birthday card", a vintage record player. I'm glad that my patterns went well, you can move the record, the tonearm and a start button I made in the same way I make the lipstick for my handbag card!

Voici ma dernière création, une carte d'anniversaire en tourne-disque de ma jeunesse.

Le disque tourne, le bras de lecture est mobile et j'ai ajouté un bouton fabriqué comme mon tube de rouge à lèvres dans la carte sac à main !

Il y a même sous le bras le saphir et les sillons sur la galette de cire.

Une pochette collée reçoit un petit disque de voeux...  Avoir un bon copain...  

I have made grooves on the disc and glued a "sapphire" under the tonearm. The top has a pocket with a smaller disc of wishes written around beginning with "to have a good friend" from a popular song in the 1930s.

My WIP gifts are for a future baby, first a bib

Trois cadeaux en cours pour le futur bébé et son grand frère :

le bavoir, l'album de naissance et les dominos en tissu

then a birth album, with progress on many pages : the elephants mobile, the bear in bed, kite, boats, swallows and the baby in his bath

and dominoes for the big brother
