Coton perlé DMC n° 5, coloris : blanc B5200, bleu 797, rouge 815, gris 415  et un vieux rose.

Biathlon : papier perforé / perforated

Crosses are 5 mm long which means that I can only use this paper to teach xstitch to the kids or try to stitch pearl cotton of my stash for some future cards.

Pour utiliser mon carton perforé Rico je voulais réaliser un écossais pour une carte avec du coton perlé n° 5 donc j'ai pris un exemple sur le net pour le croisement des fils et j'ai sélectionné les couleurs selon mes stocks. Un début un peu compliqué je le reconnais !

I wanted to make a tartan pattern with pearl cotton n° 5 on the perforated cardboard. Colors have been chosen depending on the content of my boxes.

I got the idea visiting Jennifer McGuire website.

There is another pattern I like, a round one, maybe for the ParaOlympics!

I'll be doing some halfpipe and curling soon, maybe a little skiing too!

Je me prépare pour quelques séances de halfpipe, de curling et peut-être un peu de ski bientôt...  heureusement qu'il ne s'agit de virtualité !

En conclusion, un p'tit clin d'oeil aux féminines de l'équipe de biathlon que je supporte pendant toute la saison de coupe du monde. Allez les deux Anaïs, Julia, Justine et Chloé.

Patinage / Skating

Peut-être pas de double axels mais un simple saut en ciseaux pour inspiration et lien avec le patinage artistique.

Des petits ciseaux oiseaux pour une case de mon jeu de l'oie, la n° 55.

A scissor jump as link to skating... and a small "bird" scissor on square 55 of the goose game.

J'ai essayé une première fois en calant le motif sur la bordure gauche mais le résultat ne me plaisait pas donc pénélopage et reprise pour seulement un point d'écart. 

First attempt with the pattern "touching" the border and a result I didn't valid so frogging and a better second one. Stitched with DMC metallic E317  kind of dark blue looking close to a dark silver to me, a lovely color but a nightmare to stitch for me (the strands of the thread divise/split ? and you ended with an unusable wig).

Le fil DMC E317 est un bleu foncé métallique qui donne un aspect argenté au motif très joli, un cauchemar à broder, encore plus à démonter les brins finissent par se séparer redevenant très fragiles.

Papier perforé / Perforated paper

Dans mon stock, ces cartons perforés de chez Rico achetés sans but précis. Sans grand intérêt pour le point de croix, j'ai fini par trouver quelques exemples sur le net assez inspirant pour confectionner des cartes.

I bought some times ago those perforated cards without any particular goals. I'm stitching with DMC pearl cotton n° 5 which give 5 mm long crosses.

I'm trying to stitch kind a tartan pattern, I'm more fighting cause I don't know at all how to cross the lines of colors.

Half pipe  /  Felt - feutrine  /  waterlilies - nénuphars

Pour ajouter sur le futur bassin, des feuilles et fleurs de nénuphars.

To add on the future pond, waterlilies.

Back on green Aïda table sets I started to stitch during Tokyo Olympics.

J'avais commencé à broder un éventail sur un des panneaux. J'ai conservé les couleurs utilisées pour les branches de fleurs. 

I started to stitch a fan keeping the same colors I used for the flowers.

There are a lot of back stitching to mark the folds of the fan.

Dans ce calendrier de l'avent, modèle du Magazine les idées de Marianne spécial Noël dont j'ai librement réinterprété le toit en ajoutant quelques traces de neige ainsi que des breloques en forme de flocon.
