/4/ I'm still making some progress on the goose game, last month I chose two new patterns for the 25 and 26 : a frog (as a remember of all the mistakes I made on this stitching) and a four leaves glover (as a happy sign of a smart future of this work and a soon finish in... 2020!?).

Le retour en avril du jeu de l'oie au premier plan m'a donné envie de valider et broder les motifs des cases 25 et 26 comme décidé, soit une grenouille et un trèfle à quatre feuilles. Petit clin d'oeil aux erreurs du passé et un espoir pour que la chance m'accompagne dans la réalisation de cet ouvrage dans le futur.

Les schémas ont été retravaillés d'après l'encyclopédie du
point de croix de Marianne.

Toujours dans l'optique (ah-ah) de modifier certains motifs pour les rapprocher de mes passions, il me fallait une case dédiée aux étoiles... voici donc un nouveau personnage et son télescope (ah-ah).

As I have moved some patterns to be closer to my aeras of interest, I needed something related to astronomy and here he is, a new guy and his telescope.

/16/    The second embroidery work is my snowglobe,

I finished the holly balls,  the snowman and did a lot of French knots.

beaucoup de points de noeud également.

/17/   Vêtements pour poupée mannequin

Confection du haut d'une robe de soirée, puis coupe de la partie jupe droite et courte avec une traîne.

Petite boîte pleine de merveilles acquise dernièrement, je me suis bien amusée à découvrir tous les différents accessoires et à rêver à leur futur usage. Des papillons, des coeurs, des roses, quelques boutons et une myriade de petits strass. Au départ je me demandais ce que je pourrais éventuellement faire avec ces papillons brillants et je me suis souvenue avoir imaginé une robe fleurie parsemée de papillons en rajout ainsi qu'une ceinture de papillons volants autour de la taille. Cette idée collait très bien avec la robe déjà coupée dans ce tissu coloré.

I recently bought a box of "craft gemstones" with a lot of different tiny beads, strass, roses, hearts, butterflies etc. Spent nice time to think/dream about ho I will use them. I remembered the idea of an evening dress in flowered fabric with butterflies add on it and some "flying" around the waist.
I already cut one in the perfect fabric, only have to sew some on the back and attach otheeq with pearl cotton.

In the same way I'm making one for Violette because I think Capucine might like the idea of flying butterflies on a dansing skirt.

Violette aura elle aussi sa jupe papillon, j'ai dans l'idée qu'elle plaira à Capucine.


Le pyjama challenge continue, pas de photos pour le moment
mais déjà six vêtements en cours.
Probablement pour le futur article GG de mi-juin.

/18/ The dolls designed by Zazobouzi are keeping me busy with Violette n° 2 and Félix clothes.

I'm cutting and assembling trousers and jackets

and I finished the scarf and the backpack

Coupe et assemblage des différentes pièces de pantalon et vestes.

L'écharpe et le sac à dos sont terminés.

GIFTED GORGEOUSNESS 05/20

I mostly work for my grandchildren this year, some dolls kits bought in the local fair from the designer Zazobouzi and new ideas that came up because of the confinement.

My alphabet is growing every month ; new letters are :

for a total of 32 and a score of 23/26 for a complete alphabet.


I'm still sewing the clothes for Violette n° 2 and Félix, let's see the result of Thursday sewing session before my machine got crazy making bad points.

Can't call it "gifts" but I was happy to sew some masks for the family (14 done), here is DD1 lot
even Violette got one.

Voici le lot complet de masques réalisés entre autres pour la famille P, pour les parents, les enfants et la poupée.

I wanted to be back on crochet and knitting with small projects. That's why doll's clothes are on my list to use the wool/fabric stash (Mum's and mine).

My first attempt with knitted jacket was not a success, I remembered a pattern my Mum used but the black wool didn't go well with the white one and I went back to crochet, easier to do (and hide mistakes...) and the wool I used for the dresses was allright to add some jackets to the wardrobe. You can make in one piece the back of the sleeves and the right front side then you add the back and the left side and finish with the collar.

A last row for the smart finish and the final look is up to you.

As the white curly wool is finished,
the new crochet project
is about crochet fork work.

I have done two shawls years ago and
want to do it again trying a tiny size,

Thin wool, 1.75  crochet and a 2 cm large knitting pin as a tiny crochet fork.

Nouvel essai au crochet, une mini étole au crochet à la fourche avec une laine blanche fine et quelques accessoires réadaptés pour un ouvrage de taille miniature.


I kept some old clothes from girls knowing the jersey fabric will be nice for some doll clothes,

Maybe a beach dress, a jogging trouser, skirt and sailor sweater will be on my list!

Voici le challenge du pull rayé : combien de pièces différentes puis-je réaliser avec un haut de pyjama : une robe de plage, un pantalon de jogging, une jupe et une marinière peut-être.

The only fire allowed today could be made with the candles on my birthday cake because they are too many! When I called to order the cake thinking of some made with strawberries or raspberries, the baker told me they already had some specific orders for "Black forest cake" so why not! I share it with you now!
