A l'occasion des JDMA, de nombreux artisans ouvrent les portes de leurs ateliers. Dans la brochure détaillant les adresses en Normandie, celle d'Ysabel Struk, éventailliste à Honfleur a attiré mon attention.
During the JDMA (days for artistic jobs exhibition), many craftspeople open the doors to their workshops. In the brochure listing addresses in Normandy, the entry for Ysabel, a fan-maker in Honfleur, caught my eye.
Nous avons passé deux heures dans sa boutique pendant lesquelles nous nous a expliqué en détail les procédés de fabrication, l'histoire de l'éventail et décrit ses créations.
Une visite passionnante !
We spent two hours in her shop, during which she explained the handmade processes and the history of the fan in detail, and described her creations.
