JJJ 29 LE JEUDI DU JUNK JOURNAL

It's Thursday so time for Junk Journaling...

Some updates on my Christmas Junk Journal WIP

First giving some credits to the YT girls I follow and who show me most of the ideas I'm working on...

Pamela from Paper Outpost and Natasha from Treasure Book

also : Lilian Guerrero, Designs by Lu, Lindsey, Raleigh girl, Bohemian crafting,

Christmas tree made with fabric squares, folded in half and glued on paper in triangle shapes so you can slide their tops under the triangle above. Still have to cut a star for the top and maybe a trunk.

I also cut this gift box and you can open it!
I found a way for the lid to be removed

I glued a white paper in the back where I might write something on

a guirland, inspired by my felt light bulbs one...

I'll need some corner pages to keep some flyers
and I had in my boxes old candle holders made by a German friend
more than 20 years ago. I don't use them anymore but if I cut them they can become useful in my JJ.

In the signatures I have put some magazines pages with Christmas pictures, I will used most of them only as a support and hide them behind other projects but I'll keep some as this one about snowmen.

I don't like the two pictures on the left so I cut a cardboard to cover them with this cute snowman seen from above. I cut it in a white shiny paper perfect for the snow sparkling effect.

I'm also "working" on a solution for my sewing theme JJ.

I told you about my first attempt with this journal and that I have been too greedy with five signatures becoming very thick which resulted in breaking the cover.

I could cut all the signatures and make a fabric cover but I already made the inside of the cover so I decided to take over the last signature.

A small diet which will help me to repare the back of the cover later with small strips. Then I'll glued some fabric with small sewing machines for a nice finish.
