 JJ COUTURE 2

My Sewing JJ 1 was so full I had to take off some pages and wait for a second one to show them.

It's nice to make a JJ and it's a different kind of joy to decore it with my page of wood homemade buttons.

Also with my button book, my handbag and to find a place to welcome the four Dalton brothers I drew for my TdF1.

I'm a stamp collector but I like too to use them in collages and I like the way some artists start from a portrait and draw around it landscapes. I haven't try it yet but I got the funny idea that I could made a dress for the bather Ingres paint.

and she has now her place in the JJ on a lagoon blue tracing paper.

I also have finished the inside back cover of JJ 2.  The last pages were about the story of a family spiner Marie Anne Armandine died in 1840 only 15 years old linked to a poem writen by DD3 about "the Troyes weaver's lament".

I had in my papers this cardboard with a close picture of knitted wool

I glued it on the back cover and as we visited a wool farm last Saturday

I'll add the flyer from Sandrine's farm with a small knitting

I made on hairpins

I'll only have to find another wool theme corner for the right bottom of the page.

This second sewing theme JJ is near to be full too. Am I suggesting a third one will be needed soon?

Which means Leonore will probably be right telling me that "before I know it, I'll have a whole library of handmade books".

C'est très plaisant de fabriquer un JJ et agréable de le remplir avec les bricolages déjà prêts : mes boutons en bois rebrodés, différents pliages, mon livre bouton, le sac à main et les frères Dalton et leur Stitch Dating dessiné pour mon TdF1.

Egalement ajoutée, ma baigneuse d'Ingres rhabillée par mes soins avec des dentelles de timbres et un bustier de sequins installée sur un joli calque émeraude.

J'avais mis de côté une feuille de mon stock au motif de tricot grossi pour une page dédiée à la laine. Elle va me servir comme troisième de couverture et je placerai dessus le prospectus de la ferme les p'tits bergers récemment visitée. Pour bloquer la photo mon mini tricot sera parfait il me restera simplement à trouver une autre idée pour le coin bas droit. En plus cela vient compléter logiquement la partie dédiée à Marie Anne Armandine, fileuse de la famille associée au poème écrit par Eve-Amélie.

Christmas JJ / Noël

J'ai retrouvé dans mes boîtes de perles ce petit sapin bricolé il y a bien longtemps. Il sera tout à fait à sa place comme décoration de la page réalisée à partir d'une boîte de bûche de Noël de mon boulanger.

I found in my beads boxes this cute Christmas tree I made long times ago. It will find its place on the page I created from the box my baker used for Yule logs.

Quelques publicités vous rejoindrent le JJ avec leurs amusantes situations, Cléopâtre a tellement inspiré de créateurs qu'il n'est pas étonnant de la retrouver aussi sur les podiums d'un défilé Dior.

Cléopatra has inspired so many designers that it's no surprise to see her featured on the catwalk at a Dior fasion show.

Of course, the publicists never forget her or the Pharaonic Egypt.

I have started a collage about the Nil delta, cutting and scraping the edges of the papers.
