Not much time to investigate this week but I am at Lot et Garonne. The work of the artist looks like that of Sonia Delaunay who was married to the artist Robert.
I spotted Department 41 after remembering the way the French write their 1 and 7! The pictures led me to Sonia Delaunay. The colour is obviously yellow or jaune. So I will be looking for a town connected with that colour I believe.
I've made my way to department 41 Loir et Cher. Now to explore!
