BABY PIERRE

 

Months ago, I received a pregnancy announcement for a May baby in a friend home.

Pierre is born on May the 5th.

I have had great time preparing gifts : one stitched, one sewed and one crafted. I made a birth album putting together different scrapbooking techniques, folding, cutting... 

We visited our friends last month and I wanted to post a kind of summary of the differentes stages when designing the album, here it is :

Opening page with on the left a "puzzle" card to welcome a photo and on the right the embroided version of the announcement.

Then come the firstname on the garland, some tiny envelopes for details as the astrologic sign, baby's weight...

and the birth date with places to slide pictures.

More spaces for pictures and a camera hiding some cards to write on.

Followed by plastic sleeves and some folded cards.

The back page is let empty for more pictures and on the right a music theme with an harp (you can slide something behind the strings of the harp) and a 3D kalimba you can open to stick a picture.

Both were very funny to make.

Then the baby bedroom,

a clock to tell the birth hour.

All the ideas are from birth cards,

kids album scrapbooking and

my favourite activities (can't make an

album without music, air balloon and

kite).

A baby bed and its stars mobile, a chest of drawers to welcome more pictures or infos.

L'occasion de rassembler différentes techniques de pliage, découpage, montage pour accueillir des photos ou des souvenirs et infos diverses.

Et bien sûr de glisser dans tous ces thèmes pris sur des modèles de cartes de naissance ou carnet pour enfants, mes activités préférées, pas d'album sans montgolfière, cerf-volant ou instrument de musique !

Finally a kite and some flowers and leaves on which you can write family names.

We have visited Pierre and his parents mid-June, here he is...
